There is often a thin shell that separates one space from another. When this perceptible barrier grants access to the exterior, it often reflects the presence within. All the while, the shell itself contains imperfections of its own that are often looked past.

Taking a photograph places me on the inside; it locates me as being here/now. The act of photographing is to be performative. To say, “I do.”
